This
early dramatic sculpture, capturing a swan as it just takes
flight, includes high repousse detailling on the wings, tail,
and brozed legs. Displayed on a custom-cast oval plinthe the
swan theme has remained
a popular point of inspiration in the portfolio.
This design has
be re-commissioned as a weathervane and was
first featured
in an article in The Guardian in October 2003.
